PERSPECTIVAS SOBRE INOVAÇÃO. O International Journal of Technology Management (vol. 30, n.º 1/2) dedica um número especial ao que chama "novas perspectivas sobre inovação". No editorial constata-se que "While introducing the articles in this special issue of International Journal of Technology Management entitled 'A new perspective on innovation', this study provides an integrative framework with two dimensions for organising these articles on innovation. One dimension represents some subfields of innovation research, including sources of innovation, the adoption of innovations, and the innovation evaluation. The effect of different categories on innovation, including individual variables, organisational variables, and environmental variables, are represented on the other dimension. The framework can be used to discuss the relationship between innovation activities and categories. Several issues to be considered in future research are also suggested." Um dos artigos publicados neste número da revista respeita a um estudo comparativo sobre fontes de inovação em Portugal, Canadá e EUA. Trata-se do artigo "Sources of innovation for high-tech SMEs: a comparison of USA, Canada, and Portugal" da autoria de Ana Maria Baranano, Michael Bommer e David S. Jalajas.
