«An ode to the cultural landscape of County Durham in Northeast England, The Miners’ Hymns relates a poignant tale of regional identity and an industrial past. The accompanying musical score—written and arranged by Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson—was recorded in Durham cathedral.
